“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

Each stage of life brings its own set of challenges.
For some, these moments open the door to growth and change. For others, they can feel like a standstill—confusing, heavy, or hard to move through.

Sometimes, simply recognizing that you’ve reached an impasse can be the beginning of something new. The self-doubt, the looping thoughts, the quiet inner criticism—these experiences can begin to shift when you feel truly seen, understood, and supported with care, insight, and guidance.

My name is Sangeetha, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I was born and raised in India, later moving to the suburbs of Chicago, and now call Hawai‘i home. Like many of the people I work with, my life has been shaped by both meaningful gifts and moments that required resilience and rebuilding.

There have been times I’ve come undone—times when I needed support, learned new ways of understanding myself, and slowly found my way back with greater awareness and intention. Again and again, I’ve had to choose to show up for my own life with honesty and courage.

I share this not to center my story, but because I believe the relationship we build in therapy matters.
Finding someone who feels like the right fit—someone you can trust, feel safe with, and be fully yourself around—is an essential part of the process.

I bring over 10 years of experience in mental health, working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. My work includes supporting clients through anxiety, depression, stress, eating disorders, substance use, self-esteem challenges, work-life balance, and relational concerns.

In our work together, I offer my full presence, honesty, and care. We will take time to understand your experiences, gently explore your inner dialogue, and clarify what truly matters to you. I’ll support you in building skills that allow you to approach discomfort with more curiosity and self-compassion, rather than judgment.

We’ll make space for your voice, your authenticity, and your inner wisdom. And along the way, we’ll also leave room for lightness—because even in the depth of this work, there can be moments of humor, connection, and relief.
